WHAT WE DO
New Eden Design are a forward thinking Landscape Architecture and Design consultancy that work collaboratively with architects, engineers, project
managers, commercial developers and homeowners to create fantastic, vibrant public and private outdoor spaces. We focus on the promotion of human and environmental wellbeing, optimised functionality, climate resilience and connection back to country.
Together with rising temperatures and urgent need for climate resilience, the increasing density of our urban areas means that public spaces are becoming more and more valuable as residents only outdoor spaces. We work with developers and councils to create parks, streetscapes, cycleways and recreational facilities which offer high quality amenity with climate resilience and low maintenance implications.
We can help to take your aspirations and bring them to fruition. From high-end garden design to rural acreage developments, we design spaces for residents to relax, unwind, work and play. Planting is key to shaping spaces, adding verticality, colour and texture to our designs whilst high quality materials create timeless aesthetics. We recognise the benefits of indoor-outdoor living and maximise functionality of our proposals.
Commercial Developments
We recognise that a fantastic landscape setting can be the difference between a place people want to spend time and somewhere merely functional. Working closely with clients and design teams we are able to blur the edges of outdoor and indoor spaces, adding considerable value and character to mixed use, commercial and retail developments.
Lot Divisions &
Master Planning
Our urban areas are growing and having to become increasingly climate resilient, making better use of natural resources such as water and solar access. As Landscape Architects we play an essential role in designing outdoor environments for master planned developments and lot divisions to ensure places are liveable and the changing environment is considered.
Schools & Campuses
We see educational environments as an opportunity to provide future generations with exposure to the natural world, an opportunity to reduce stress levels and provide education on natural processes. Our designs aim to inspire.
Ecological
Habitat, particularly around our urban areas, is dwindling and Australia is one of the countries with the highest rate of extinctions in the world, this is why we work alongside ecologists to ensure that design proposals offer meaningful provision for both wildlife and human life.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO COUNTRY
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land within Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to Aboriginal people and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present and emerging.
A better understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures progresses an enriched gratitude of Australia’s cultural heritage and can lead to resolution. This is essential to the maturity of Australia as a nation and fundamental to the development of an Australian identity.
